Move balance from one salary account to another
Here you can move the balance from one salary account to another.
You may e.g. have agreed with your employee that overtime should be paid out or converted to extra vacation days. You can manage this here.
At the top you select which salary account you would like to move the balance to and which date it should apply from.
If accounts have the same balance formats
In the text box Hours or Days you enter the number of hours/days, which you would like to move, and in the text box Factor, you enter how the total number of hours/days should be calculated.
An example: You have agreed with your employee that 50 flex hours should be converted to 25 vacation hours. Here you enter 50 in the Hours field and 0.5 in the Factor field, which results in 25 in Total which are transferred to the vacation account.
If accounts do not have the same balance formats
If you move from an account where the format is hours to an account where the format is days, you need to decide how many days the hours convert into. The principle is the same, if you move from an account in days to one in hours.
An example: You have agreed with your employee that 50 flex hours should be converted to 5 vacation days. Here you enter 50 in the first text field for hours and 5 in the next for days.
In the comment fields you can e.g. add a text where you explain the reason for moving the hours. It is a good help for you and your employee, so you at a later time can remember which agreement you made.
Once done, you click the Save button.
