Introduction

Move hours is TimeLogs tool for moving time registrations from one project or task to another.

Move Hours for PSA 

We have set up a personal filter for you, that you can change and adjust as you like, or you can create more saved views if you like. 

The page shows all registrations that fit the filters, that you can adjust by clicking the filter button on the right side of the screen.  
The filters can be combined as you like and will update instantly when you select them.  

Please note that we have included an option to filter based on is/ is not, so that you can exclude an item from the filtering 

It is also possible to search inside the table.  

When you save the view, both the filter setting, search and selected columns are included in the saved view.

Move Hours

• Simply select the registrations you want to move, by checking them in the selector to the left side of the screen.
• When you do that, you will get the option to select the project and task they should be moved to. Once you are ready, click “move hours” 

Split registrations

• In some cases, it is helpful to split a time registration into two, if only some hours on it should be moved. To do this click the split icon to the right of the registration.
• In the dialogue divide the hours between two tasks. – we have preselected the current task for one of them, but you can put the hours into two separate projects if you like. 
  
• Click save and we move the hours

Move Hours for Advanced or older Plans

Report view

• Under View, select the desired filters.
• Under View options, select which additional data you wish to include in the report.

Move hours

This report presents time registrations within the selected filter, listing the project and task on which the registrations are based.

• In the New Project/Task column, select the project and task to which you wish to move the time registration.
• To split the time registration between two projects/tasks, click Split to the right of a given line.
• When you are finished moving hours, click Save.

Special remarks

It is not possible to move hours to projects that have been Finished, Archived or Cancelled, or tasks with Finished status.
