Integration log
Introduction
This report provides a log of all your transactions between TimeLog and your integrated finance and payroll systems, along with the status of each transaction.
Description
The report provides a comprehensive summary of all transactions conducted during the specified period, detailing the status of each transfer. In the event of a failed transfer, the corresponding error description from the integrated system is presented.
View
At the top of the webpage, you select which integration and period you want to view transactions for.
Under Display, you have the following options:
- Integration: Here you select which integration you want to see transactions for
- Transaction no.: If you know the transaction number of the transfer, enter it here
- Standard period: Here you can choose between predefined periods.
- Period: Here you can select the start and end date for which period the report should show transactions for.
- Full text search: Here you can search by, for example, employee ID and name if you have chosen a payroll integration, or by, for example, an invoice number if you have chosen a finance integration
View options
Here you can choose which transaction information you want the report to include. By default, all display options are selected.
- Show pending transactions; Includes transfers that have not been completed at the time the report is generated
- Show failed transactions; Includes transfers that could not be created in the integrated system
- Show partially failed transactions; Includes transfers where parts of the transfer could not be created in the integrated system. (For example, the new customer was created during the transfer of the first invoice, but the invoice's contact person could not be created)
- Show successful transactions; Includes all completed transfers.
Click SHOW to generate the transaction report
Transactions
In the transaction report table, you see a row for each individual transfer and their status. The report contains the following information columns:
- Integration; Shows the name of the selected integration
- no.; Shows the running number of the transfer
- Status; Shows a green dot when the transfer has been received and created in the selected integration
If the transfer fails, a red dot appears next to the transaction number
If a yellow dot is displayed, the transaction was only partially completed - Type; Shows which data type has been transferred
- Details; Shows a description of the transferred data type
- Date; Shows the date of the individual data transfer
- Time; Shows the time of the individual data transfers in the selected period.
If you click the arrow on the far left, the transaction expands, and you can see all the steps the integration has performed, as well as the status for each individual transfer.
If a transfer fails, you will get a more detailed error message about the reason when you click the arrow on the far left. Optionally, hover your mouse over the error message received from the integrated system to see the full information.
