Introduction

This document describes TimeLog’s functionality regarding resource groups and allocating employees. This document is geared towards project managers, who would like an overview of the significance of employee allocation, and what options TimeLog offers – either on a high or low level of detail – to assign access to employees to register time and define hourly rates.

This document consists of two parts:

1. Resource groups: An introduction to resource groups and their usage
2. Employee allocation: A detailed description of how employees are allocated to projects and how hourly rates for each allocation are determined.
