Project module settings

Introduction

The overview of setup options for projects is available in System administration -> Projects -> Project module settings.

Description

Here you make the general setup of items to be included in the project view. They may not be needed for all projects, so here you can simplify setup if necessary.

Setup

You can enable and disable features affecting:

  • Project features: Options on your projects, e.g. use of milestones, baselines and sorting of drop-down menus and hourly rates
  • Project fields: I.a. your reporting and invoicing information
  • Task features: The overview in the project plan, e.g. use of task numbers, making it easier for you to find the right tasks in large project plans
  • Task fields: Possibility of adding additional information for each task, e.g. task number. Makes it easier for you to find specific tasks in large project plans and when searching in your time tracking
  • Budgeting: Choose whether budget amount and hours should be locked
  • Planning: Choose settings for start and end dates and the employees’ tasks

The settings apply to all projects in TimeLog.
