To set up your customised front page, you need to:

  1. Go into your system administration, which is located in the top right corner, under your user icon.
  2. Click on "General settings" on the left side of the page.
  3. Click on the "TimeLog front page" tab.

Here, you can select the different information and numbers, that you want to be shown in your front page.

Notification center

The notification center, helps you gain easy access over:

  • Request timesheet submissions from other users
  • Approve timesheets
  • Approve absence
  • Approve expenses
  • Approve mileage

Widgets

With widgets, you gain an overview of:

  • Average hourly rate (AHR): is determined by dividing the total sales value of hours spent on a project by the overall number of hours dedicated to that project. If any hours are considered non-billable (with a sales value of 0), the AHR will decrease accordingly.
  • Invoiced per Month: is displayed in the Base currency. Project data adheres to the privilege setup, ensuring that only invoices from relevant projects are visible. This includes invoices from all projects, regardless of their status (open or closed), from both the current fiscal year and the previous fiscal year. If the customer has not configured a fiscal year, the default will be the calendar year.
  • Project Task Completion: provides insights into the relationship between hours budgeted and hours registered for each project. Remember that this completion rate might differ from the overall project-level completion rate, as it aggregates data from task-level budgeting.
  • Absence Plan: displays team members who are allocated to work on the project(s) managed by the given project manager (PM).
  • Day(s) since last submission: shows the amount of days, you last sent in your timesheet submission
  • Vacation calculation: shows how many days you have available for vacation.

Internal message box

In the internal message box, you can share information, that you want to be communicated throughout the organisation.

Milestones

With milestones, you get an overview of the milestones that you have set on different projects. You get a easy and user-friendly overview, to keep track of where you are in the projects.

Note that you need to create milestones in the project, to be able to track them.
