TimeLog responsibles
As TimeLog responsible, you receive important information regarding your TimeLog account, e.g. releases and planned downtime.
What is a TimeLog responsible?
The TimeLog responsible is the designated person who manages your organisation’s relationship with TimeLog. This person receives all key notifications about your TimeLog account and has the authority to place orders and make decisions about your subscription and account settings.
Typical notifications include information about new product releases, upcoming events, and any planned system downtime that may affect your work. You can assign this responsibility to more than one user to ensure continuity, but there must always be at least two active TimeLog responsible for the account.
You manage TimeLog responsibles in your account settings. To find this area, go to:
Manage account > TimeLog responsible.
Only users whose role includes access to “My TimeLog account” can view and manage this information. If a user does not have this access in their role, they will not be able to see or update the TimeLog responsible settings.
Add TimeLog responsible
- Click Add responsible
- Select a user
- Select the role the employee has in the company
- Click Save
After you click Save, the selected employee appears in the list of TimeLog responsibles. From this list, you can also remove an employee from the role by clicking the trash can icon if the person should no longer act as a TimeLog responsible, for example due to a change in responsibilities or departure from the company.
You can always see all changes to your subscription in the action log in the menu to the left.
