Link customer with integration
Introduction
This function is available to you when you have activated a financial integration and linked your customers in TimeLog with the corresponding customer in the financial system.
Linking customers is done as one of the first steps when configuring the financial integration. At the same time, you choose which system will be the master for new customers. The integration's online guide (click on the question mark in the integration's configuration) provides you with a detailed description of the different options for linking/importing your customers.
Description
When the financial integration is configured and activated, you can see the individual customer's linking status on the customer card.
Open the desired customer and click on the three dots to the right of the customer’s name. Then click on Link customer with integration, and the pop-up window shows you the current status.
A green check mark indicates that the customer is linked to a customer in the financial system. A black dot indicates that the customer is not linked.
Clicking on the green check mark will break the link. By clicking on the black dot, TimeLog will check if the customer exists in the financial system. If the customer is found, the customers are linked without any data transfer. If the customer is not found in the financial system, the customer will be created in the financial system if this function is activated in the integration.
If you have TimeLog MLE activated and created multiple legal entities in your TimeLog installation, the table in the pop-up window will contain names of the activated financial integrations.
